Kinetic/sound installations, sculptures, and pencil drawings
The components respond to one another in irregular patterns. The pendulums swing continuously, yet they have lost their function of keeping regular time; their motion instead unsettles the conventional experience of time as linear and fragmented. Each object carries its own temporality through its material, caught at a different stage of decay in rust, patina, and moss.
The pipes, hoses, cables, tanks, and wires all do real work, carrying electricity and compressed air through the space, and this circulation becomes perceptible as sound, light, and movement. Infrastructure that would normally be hidden inside walls and ceilings is left exposed, running across the floor and overhead.
