This work began with a discarded object—a junior baseball bat found in the bushes—and developed a narrative layer through the integration of sculptural materials and intervention. In Korean folklore, Dokkaebi are mythical spirits often believed to originate from discarded objects that have absorbed human touch and presence. These figures carry a magic club that grants wishes to the virtuous or bestows punishment on the wicked.
